One piece of advice that I can give any bride on a budget that is planning there wedding in New Jersey is to have a winter wedding. The wedding venues in NJ are willing to give significant discounts on off season rates. One wedding venue that we went to charged one hundred and fifty dollars per person if you wanted to have your wedding in the summer, but if you were willing to have your wedding in the winter the price went all the way down to seventy five dollars per person. The wedding venues would rather have something in their venue then have a date open, and they know not to many people get married in the winter so they really reduce their rates to compete for your business. Having a winter wedding is great because you can take pictures outside in the snow. Guests usually love winter weddings because they do not have as much going on in the winter months.
